Personalized Health Care
Our primary concern is to develop personalized care plans that are built for specific health goals and are calibrated to have consistent measurable results. We approach each patient as a mental/emotional/physical and spiritual structure. We welcome all health concerns within our practice, whether they seem big or small. Our goal is to utilize our many tools to encourage an individuals ultimate well being. Within this context, we offer an array of services. Many of our integrated and holistic methods are listed below.

MicroVas

In keeping with our commitment to being on the cutting edge of regenerative therapies, this year, The Ageless Living Center opened its doors to a revolutionary device called the MicroVas.  The MicroVas is an electronic therapy system used to increase circulation to an extremity of a body part in order to speed wound healing.  We are proud to be the first in the Rocky Mountain region to offer this groundbreaking therapy.

Chiropractic

Chiropractic is a health care system that diagnoses and treats mechanical disorders of the spine and musculoskeletal system with the intention of affecting the nervous system and improving overall well-being. Chiropractic treatment is based on the premise that a spinal joint misalignment, which we call a vertebral subluxation, can interfere with the nervous system and result in many different conditions of diminished health. Treatments typically include spinal adjustments to correct the vertebral subluxation, though we may use other holistic interventions as well.

Applied Kinesiology

During the 1960's a new system of evaluation began to develop in chiropractic.  Dr. George Goodheart of Detroit, Michigan, found that evaluation of normal and abnormal body function could be accomplished by using muscle tests.   Since the original discovery, the principle as broadened to include evaluation of the nervous, vascular, and lymphatic systems, nutrition, acupuncture, and cerebrospinal fluid function.  This system is called "applied kinesiology".  Muscle tests are applied to different areas of the body in a manner that evaluates a specific muscle.   You will note from your examination that some muscles test strong and others appear extremely weak – perhaps the same muscle functions well on one side and poorly on the other.  The "weakness" indicates not only poor muscle function, but also possible trouble with the organ and/or other tissue on the same nerve, vascular, and nutritional grouping.   Further evaluation by the doctor reveals the 'controlling' factor that might be at fault.   If the correction is successful, there will be a remarkable improvement in the following muscle test.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture uses tiny, sterile, disposable needles which are gently inserted into various points on the body (acupoints) to balance the body's Qi (energy) in order to promote healing.  Every patient responds differently to acupuncture. Some may feel immediate relief, others delayed relief, and for some, relief may require more than one treatment. Generally speaking, the effects of acupuncture are accumulative. Each treatment successively enhances the prior. Typically a significant change is obvious within 5-8 sessions and a acupuncture course is considered 8-12 sessions.

Traditional Chinese Medicine

Traditional Chinese Medical (TCM) practitioners use a holistic approach to health care. They know the body as an element of nature that has the innate ability to function optimally when certain conditions are met in its external and internal environments.  By using the diagnostic tools of TCM including but not limited to pulse and tongue diagnosis, the practitioner assesses the patient's overall condition, including mental, emotional, physical and spiritual wellness. The diagnostics take into account the entire body, every subtle or obvious symptom, and the patient's entire lifestyle. The assessment helps the practitioner determine the appropriate modality and acupoint selection, and often necessitates an herbal medicine prescription to deliver the body back to its natural harmonious state.

Additional Therapies

In addition to the above listed, we offer a host of traditional and non-traditional therapies including Massage, NETTM , Astrology Consultation, Nutrition and Supplementation Counseling, and work with the GenesisTM Interactive Music Device.  Please contact our office to find out about our additional services.

Genesis Genesis

The Genesis Experience

The Genesis Bio-Entrainment Module is an interactive, intelligent sonic/acoustic environment.  It is the result of many years of scientific research in the field of stress, bio-acoustics, muscle-armoring, music therapy, and integrated structural and environmental design. The Genesis provides an environment that facilitates the release of muscle armoring associated with injury, emotional tension, and long term stress related negative muscle patterns. As you recline comfortably on a padded platform suspended in a geometric frame, you will feel the vibrations as your body absorbs the music and begins to relax.  The Genesis therapist, through gentle touch, helps the process of relaxation deepen so that you feel relaxed and refreshed at the end of the session.

How does the Genesis sense vibrations?

Each person continually emits minute amounts of electrical charges which change from moment to moment as the client’s thoughts and feelings change.  These electrical charges come from the vibrations of the cells in every part of the body. The microchip used in the Genesis is sensitive to these subtle changes.  As changes occur, the music is altered to encourage continued levels of relaxation.  Through interaction with the Genesis, the client learns to relax and allow the music and vibrations to deeply penetrate his or her body and loosen the rigidity of long held tension and stress.

A Genesis session is not a quiet form of relaxation such as you would expect from meditation.  Rather, it is a dynamic relaxation experience.  The point of a Genesis session is for your entire body to experience the music rather than simply listening to it with your ears.  The body feels music best between and 85 to 90 dB range.  During a Genesis session the body absorbs most of the dB level.  While it might sound loud to someone outside of the Genesis, the level is quite acceptable to the client.  Of course, you have control of your session and can always request that the operator lower the music if you feel in any way uncomfortable with it.

The Genesis frame plays an important role as well.  The unique structure enhances the relaxation process by circulating, amplifying, and balancing both human and musical vibrations. The cuboctahedron structure forms a sensor grid in which the bio-static field around your body is sensed, processed, and sent to the computer.  You have complete freedom to move about within the framework during your session.
