Mark Akers DC

Dr. Mark Akers has been in natural family practice for 15 years as an alternative primary care provider. Dr Akers has mastered the skilled application of nutriceuticals as natural antibiotics, anti inflamatories and immune activators in the treatment of acute injury and illness. He is specialized in the holistic treatment of chronic degenerative diseases of structure and metabolism.  Dr Akers received his doctorate in Chiropractic Science from Cleveland Chiropractic College following a career in the aerospace industry. His continuing education focus is on Nutrigenomics, Antiaging, Wellness Care and the functional medicine treatment of metabolic disease.  He is licensed in Colorado as board-certified Chiropractor  Certifications include Applied Kinesiology by the International College of Applied Kinesiologists 2000, Electrotherapy by the Colorado State Board of Chiropractic Examiners, 1994, the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners, 1993 and Massage Therapeutics, Integrative Body Works of Wichita Kansas 1991.   Dr. Akers has contributed his expertise, most recently as a notable member of the Medical Advisory Board for Univera Life Sciences serving as Co-Chair 2003- 2006 and as a member of the Board of Directors, Global Montessori Academy of Kansas City, 1994-1996.   He was the Senior Research Fellow at the Cleveland Chiropractic College Research Division and Co-Chair of the Campus Environment Committee at Cleveland Chiropractic College, 1993-1994.   Dr. Akers’ purpose is to transform lives  by establishing wellness as a lifestyle for his patients. Dr. Akers continues to research and develop clinical programs in holistic health and nutrition. Dr Akers brings a background in product development from the aerospace industry, which supports his passion for developing programs that support high-level health for his clients. He maintains a balanced and active lifestyle having achieved a lifelong goal of attaining the rank of Black Belt in Tae-Kwon-Do at the age of 52 In addition to practicing and running a busy clinical practice, he makes himself available for public or private speaking engagements. Kimball Cicciu, L.Ac

Kimball Cicciu is a Licensed Acupuncturist with an extensive 15 year background in providing health care, health and fitness education and yoga and meditation instruction for groups and individuals including international audiences. As a health care provider and educator, Kimball takes pride in offering not only Traditional Chinese Medicine but holistic wellness coaching, seminars, and workshops for youth and adults. Her teaching experience includes Medical College courses, both Eastern and Western, at the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) where she has been a faculty member for more than 8 years, an Introduction to Chinese Medicine course at Red Rocks Community College and public Montessori education for youth. Kimball has a special interest in treating women's health and sports injuries but can confidently treat any condition effectively. Her ultimate goal is to help thousands of other people not only stay free of disease but also maintain a high level of physical wellness, significant energy and mental, emotional and spiritual well-being. She's practiced yoga and meditation since 1992 and has been a student of Zen meditation since 2000 at the Zen Center of Denver where she received lay ordination under the instruction of Ven. Danan Henry Roshi. She began teaching yoga in 1999 and her current Yoga Classes are offered in Golden, Colorado.

	Tiffany Lucero -- Co-Owner, center manager and an expert in billing and implementation of services. She has worked in the alternative healthcare industry for over 15 years and consulted hundreds of chiropractic offices around the country.

Gretchen Aurand - Front Desk Manager
